In
the heart of Savannah' famed Historic District, stands Laura's Cottage. This 18th century cottage is believed to be the original cottage where
Isaiah Davenport resided while awaiting the completion of the now historic Davenport House, the first home to be saved by the Historic Savannah
Foundation.
This cozy two story cottage, with its original heart pine floors, walls and ceilings, is a rustic charmer. Decorated in antiques, the first
floor is comprised of the living area with a queen sleeper sofa, fireplace and full kitchen. The second floor is the spacious bedroom and bathroom.
In addition a washer/dryer makes the cottage perfect for extended stays. Off street parking is provided in the rear of the cottage.
The
cottage is unhosted, meaning there are no meals or maid service provided during your stay. The cottage is equipped with eating and cooking utensils
and linens. Maid service is provided after check-out.
The cottage has convenient central location near Columbia Square, just a short walk from most
of Savannah's historic sites and eating establishments.
$200 per night double occupancy; $25 nightly surcharge for each additional
guest; maximum occupancy four. THREE NIGHT MINIMUM.
